•  Only unmarried male/female candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 2004 and not later than 1st July 2007 are eligible to apply for UPSC NDA & NA 1 2023.

• For General, OBC, EWC : Rs. 100/-
• For SC/ ST/ PWD/ESM/Ex-servicemen/Female : Rs.0/-
• Payment Mode : Online Through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards .

 For Army Wing of NDA

• 12th Class pass (10+2 pattern) or equivalent examination from recognized board in India.

For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA & NA 10+2 Cadet Entry

• Class 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (10+2 pattern) or equivalent examination from recognized board in India.

Note: Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination. Candidates appearing in the 11th class exam are not eligible for NDA & NA 1 2023 examination.

• Fixed monthly stipend of Rs. 56,100/- will be payable to the Gentlemen Cadets during NDA / NA Training. Salary Details for the NDA Exam after successful completion of training is given below.

• The exam will be conducted in an offline mode
• The questions will be in Multiple Choice Questions
• The questions will be asked in bilingual languages (English & Hindi)
• There will be a negative marking of 0.83 marks for Maths, 1.33 for English, and 1.33 marks for GK

NDA Registration 

First, candidates need to register themselves on the official website of the exam. This has four major parts namely initiating the registration, choosing the branch preference, verifying the details, and generation of registration ID. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below:

• Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
• Step 2: Click on “ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC”.
• Step 3: Fill in all the necessary details in the registration form like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Contact number, Email Id, etc.
• Step 4: Choose the branch preference in the order of one to four.
• Step 5: Click on verify to validate your registration and note down the system-generated registration ID and Password.

NDA Application Form

In the second part of the form, candidates need to pay the application fee and select their exam and upload a scanned copy of the photograph.

• Step 1: Log in with the registration ID and Password on the UPSC NDA official website.
• Step 2: Go to the tab mentioning “Payment”.
• Step 3: Pay the application fees via any online payment mode at your convenience.
• Step 4: Select the examination center and upload a Photograph and Signature.
• Step 5: Download the application form and take a printed copy for future reference.

NDA Application Fee

NDA application fee for candidates belonging to different categories is mentioned below:

Candidates can use any mode for payment like credit/debit card, net banking, etc. or even pay in offline mode by depositing money in any Branch of SBI. Candidates need to take a printout of the payment receipt and the NDA application form for future reference.
