Indian Military Academy (IMA)
- Pass or Appearing Bachelor Degree in Any Stream at Any Recognized University in India.
Officers Training Academy (OTA)
- Pass or Appearing Bachelor Degree in Any Stream at Any Recognized University in India.
Air Force Academy (AFA)
- Candidates must have Bachelor Degree in any stream from recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) OR Bachelor of Engineering from recognised University/ Institution in India.
Indian Naval Academy (INA)
- Must have Degree in Engineering from recognised University/Institution in India.

UPSC CDS 1 Exam Pattern :
- There will be Multiple-Choice Questions in each paper
- The question paper for General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics will be set in Hindi as well as English

How to Apply Online for UPSC CDS 1 Post Recruitment 2022 ?.
CDS Application Fee
To get the complete details of the CDS application fee, go through the points listed below. It is essential for the candidates to pay the application fee along with the form. Detailed information about the fee of the CDS application form has been mentioned herewith.
- Candidates must pay the application fee either online via SBI Net Banking, in cash via SBI bank challan, or by credit card/debit card.
- Candidates should take a printout of the challan produced online after completing the registration process to pay the fee in cash.
- A candidate has to pay INR 200 as a CDS application fee which is exempted for Female/SC/ST candidates.
- After 24 hours of generating the challan, candidates must proceed to the nearest SBI branch to deposit the fees.
- A day before the exam, the option to pay by cash is deactivated. Applicants who have created their pay-in-slip before it is deactivated, however, may pay at an SBI branch counter during business hours on the CDS application form last date.
Important Instructions for CDS Apply Online
The candidates must keep in consideration this essential information as mentioned herewith to submit the CDS apply online form 2023 successfully. Take a look at the points regarding the CDS application form illustrated herewith.
- Candidates must upload scanned images of their signature and photograph. The JPG format of the scanned photograph should be submitted first.
- For greater visibility, you should scan your signature, which has been written on white paper using a black ink pen. Each scanned image of the photograph/signature should be no larger than 300 KB and no smaller than 20 KB.
- The minimum and maximum resolutions for the photograph and signature are 350 pixels (Width) * 350 pixels (Height) for the former and 1000 pixels (Width) * 1000 pixels (Height) for the latter. Also, please double-check that the supplied photo and signature are legible.
- The photo ID document should be in PDF format. A PDF size should not exceed 300 kb and should not be less than 20 kb.
- Submit the CDS application form and take its print it for future requirements.
