CBT I :

• Mode of Exam: Online
• Duration: 60 minutes
• Sections: Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, General Awareness on Current Affairs
• Number of Questions: 75
• Marks: 75
• Marking Scheme: 1 mark for each correct answer, negative marking of ⅓ mark for each incorrect answer.

CBT II :

• Mode of Exam: Online
• Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
• Sections:
  • Part A: Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, General Awareness on Current Affairs
  • Part B: Relevant Trade
• Number of Questions:
  • Part A: 100
  • Part B: 75
• Marks:
  • Part A: 100
  • Part B: 75
• Marking Scheme: 1 mark for each correct answer, negative marking of ⅓ mark for each incorrect answer.

Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) :

• Candidates who clear the CBT 2 and 2 exams will be called for round 3 i.e. Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), and after that final selection list will be prepared.

• Step 1: Visit the official website of RRB and go to the other RRB page, https://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/other-rrb.php
• Step 2: At your RRB regional website, click on the notification of the RRB ALP 2024 Notification.
• Step 3: Register yourself for the exam with the personal details required.
• Step 4: For registration, open the page and fill in your basic details, for example, your name, your parent’s name, contact information, mail-id etc.
• Step 5: As you click on submit button, you will receive an OTP. Kindly process it.
• Step 6: After the OTP is validated, process the generated mail for login credentials.
• Step 7: Log in with the credentials and provide the details asked by the application.
• Step 8: Pay the required application fee as mentioned by the board.
• Step 9: Download the copy of the RRB ALP application and take out a hard copy to save it for further use.
