• Minimum Age Required : 18 Years
• Maximum Age Limit: 25 Years
• Age Limit as on : 19 September 2022
• Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable as per Government Rule (03 years for OBC, 05 Years for SC / ST, additional 10 years for PwD etc).

Head Constable (Radio Operator)

• Candidates should have passed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Two years ITI Certificate in Radio and Television/ Electronics/ Computer & Programming Assistant/ Data Preparation & Software/ General Electronics/ Data Operator from a recognized Institute. OR
• Candidates should have passed Intermediate or 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with aggregate 60% marks in PCM subjects.

Head Constable (Radio Mechanic)

• • Candidates should have passed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Two years ITI Certificate in Radio and Television/ Electronics/ Computer & Programming Assistant/ Data Preparation & Software/Electrician /Fitter / or
  • Info Technology & Electronics System maintenance/ Comn Equipment Maintenance/ Computer Hardware/ Network Technician/ Mechatronics / Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute. OR
  • Candidates should have passed Intermediate or 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with aggregate 60% marks in PCM subjects.

• Written Exam
• Physical Efficiency and Measurement Test (PE&MT)
• Skill Test (Typing, Steno, etc.)
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination

For Male Candidates: 

• Height: 168 cms
• Chest: 80 cms (85 cms after expansion)
• Weight: Proportionate to Height and Age as per medical standards.

For Female Candidates:

• Height: 157 cms
• Chest: Not Applicable
• Weight: Proportionate to Height and Age as per medical standards.

BSF Head Constable RO & RM Physical Efficiency Test (PET) : 

For Male Candidates: 

• 1.6 Km Race to be completed in 6 .5 minutes.
• Long Jump – 11 Feet in three chances.
• High Jump – 3.5 Feet in three chances. (Ex-servicemen and BSF Serving personnel are exempted from Physical Efficiency Test).

For Female Candidates:

• 800 Mtrs race to be completed in 04  minutes.
• Long Jump – 09 Feet in three chances.
• High Jump – 3 Feet in three chances.

• Pay Matrix Level-4, Pay Scale Rs. 25500- Rs. 81100/- (as per 7th CPC) and Other Allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees.

• Negative Marking: 1/4th
• Time Duration: 2 Hours
• Mode of Exam: OMR BASED

• Step 1: Go to the Official website and apply for the post.
• Step 2: Next, go to the “Online Registration Page” and submit the required details like phone number and email id.
• Step 3: Submit your own phone number and email id as your registration id and password will be sent to the mentioned contact details.
• Step 4: You will get your registered id and password on your phone number and email.
• Step 5: Candidates need to go to the Login Page and login to the application system using your registration id and password generated through step 1.
• Step 6: Fill in all your basic details asked in the application form and submit the application form.
• Step 7: Upload the qualification documents, passport size photograph, and signature, and then lastly pay the examination fee using the given Online Payment gateway.
