• Minimum Age Required : 18 Years
• Maximum Age Limit for Stenographer Gr C : 30 Years
• Candidates born not before 02.01.1992 & not later than 01.01.2004 are eligible to apply
• Maximum Age Limit for Stenographer Gr D : 27 Years
• Candidates born not before 02.01.1995 & not later than 01.01.2004 are eligible to apply
• Age Limit as on : 01 January 2022
• Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable as per Government Rule (03 years for OBC, 05 Years for SC / ST, additional 10 years for PwD etc).

• Transcription Test: Grade-D: English 50 Minutes/ Hindi 65 Minutes, Grade-C: English 40 Minutes/ Hindi 55 Minutes.

Note: The HRA depends on the city of posting. For calculation purposes, the city of posting is considered to be New Delhi. Therefore the HRA, DA, and TA vary from place to place hence the salary also varies depending on the posting of the job.

SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Skill Test Pattern :

• one dictation for 10 minutes in English / Hindi at the speed of 100 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’.

• Step 1: Visit the official website of ssc.nic.in .
• Step 2: Find and Click the SSC Stenographer Registration link.
• Step 3: Fill the One Time Registration (OTR) form.
• Step 4: Enter the required details such as the personal and professional details.
• Step 5: On successful registration, registration ID and password will be sent on registered mobile number and email-id.
• Step 6: Log in again and fill the application form.
• Step 7: Fill in all the necessary details as per your documents.
• Step 8: Upload scanned photograph, signature and other required documents.
• Step 9: Check the details and verify the information entered.
• Step 10: Submit the Application Form.
• Step 11: Take a printout of the same for future references.
